I will watch the replay tonight and give detailed feedback, but I will say based on your comment. You probably should avoid going blink stalkers at your level. Blink stalkers are super APM and attention intensive and will hurt your macro more than your micro will help you. You should check out Vibes bronze to GM. It sounds like you focused a lot on micro. Until you have more or less eliminated supply blocks and missed production cycles from your play, you may want to stick with A-move units/armies such as Zealot Immortal Archon.

I am a plat random, I suck as a player and could definitely use some help drilling into my mechanics. I do have experience coaching both SC2 and in real sports if people need help breaking down their replays and tightening up their play.

In both 2v2 and 1v1 if you get cannon rushed. The trick is to just stay calm and macro up. Any ranged unit should be sufficient to deal with it if you just take your time. Cannons are expensive and will take a long time to kill your nexus.

Sounds fun. I am not sure how often I will be able to make it between a grad school and young child, but definitely like the idea of some Civil Clan Wars.

I find battlemech is way way more forgiving and easier to play at the plat-dia level as long as you keep your production up and your mineral and gas income balanced properly. Bio is a lot more fun to play, but keeping your army from getting bunched up and dying to a random AoE is tough and you need to be always doing damage to keep from getting crushed by an unfettered eco with better units.

I use F1-F8 and move idle workers to ~. I put the all army key on i as a break glass in case of emergency. Immortals and other displaced from I get moved to G or other keys no farther than H.

My biggest issue and the one I see a lot of people struggle with is just generally focusing on micro and multitasking when all they should be doing is macroing. Letting your money get high or forgetting workers is the fastest way to lose.
